Job Overview :

The Salesforce Architect is a seasoned professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions that meet the business needs of the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, industry best practices, and technical expertise to architect scalable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Solution Design : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive solutions using Salesforce technologies. Create technical architecture diagrams, data models, and integration strategies.

- Technical Leadership : Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and emerging trends. Mentor and guide development teams on coding standards, design patterns, and implementation approaches.

- Customization and Configuration : Leverage declarative tools and custom code (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) to build customized solutions that extend the standard Salesforce functionality.

- Integration : Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems, such as ERP, marketing automation, and external databases, using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.

- Governance and Compliance : Ensure solutions adhere to security, data privacy, and compliance standards. Design and implement role-based access controls, data sharing rules, and data retention policies.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance application speed and responsiveness.

- Release Management : Plan and manage Salesforce releases, including sandbox management, deployment strategies, and version control.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, administrators, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, data models, and integration details.

- Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends. Share knowledge and insights with the team to drive innovation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified System Architect or similar certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Integration Architect).
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications and integrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
