JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic?Business Development Manager to help us expand?our clientele.
JOB SUMMARY
To represent Vitage Systems and to have?the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive?sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
EXPERIENCE
5-10 Years of Experience in direct selling of I.T. solutions with direct customer exposure.
Must have had exposure to key account management, handled accounts independently and have both a "hunter" and "farmer" orientation with focus on "value selling"
Develops relationships with external clients and organisations to assess their technology, support, and security needs.
Provides client assessments, and pitches IT and service packages during meetings or presentations.
Offers innovative solutions that meet clients’ needs and emphasis more on IT Services Business.
Establishes client and sales goals, and tracks progress and other metrics.
Maintains relationships with technology, software, and security vendors.
Specialises in IT needs and demands for IT industry and different verticals ex academics, finance, or healthcare etc.
Maintains familiarity with current and upcoming IT equipment, services, and other developments.
Upholds a sense of customer service and measures client satisfaction.
Attends industry events and trade exhibitions to learn about cutting edge product releases and news.
Achieve Business Goals – Bottom Line Target will be assigned post 30 days.
Sales & Networking
Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, events / conferences / trade show participation and other sales activities
Contacting potential clients and organize meetings within India – giving professional sales presentations during the meetings
Developing and managing the local and overseas sales funnels for VSPL markets and services using CRM
Providing timely services’ quotes to customers through proposals, as needed, and following up with contracts on proposal acceptance and finalization - ensuring deal closure
Handling existing client accounts and relationships - working closely with the existing clients and looking for cross selling opportunities to increase sales volume
Liaising between VSPL Info and the customers for up-to-date pricing, services, and latest product-release launches
Planning for & renewing existing contracts before expiry
Key / Must Have Requirements:
Should have closed deals with clients, created meaningful partnerships and / or alliances during his/her prior role in Business Development (preferably Sale of Services)
Strong Research and Deal Origination skills are a must with an ability to handle end-to-end execution
Must be persistent, detail and process oriented for leads & closure of deals
Must be a great team player
Great Communication Skills;
a) Should be able to grasp the crux of discussions and issues and propose relevant solutions,
b) Excellent command over English (spoken and written)
c) Should be able to work closely with Technical Leaders to generate their thoughts / services in order to address potential client requirements
Other Preferred Requirements:
· Highly Preferred Managed Services and enterprise technology delivering background.
· Proven Digital Marketing experience will be given preference.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with detailed knowledge of PowerPoint
Work towards the organization of a better Sales Support Team
Customer oriented, well organized with excellent time management skills
Excellent attitude with good conflict resolution skills
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's (BE/B.Sc.) or master’s degree
