**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a talented and experienced Encompass - Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining applications within the Encompass ecosystem, leveraging their expertise to enhance our mortgage origination processes. The Senior Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Development & Design:**
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of new features and enhancements in the Encompass platform.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and refine system requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards.

2. **Integration:**
- Design and implement integrations with third-party applications and services within and outside the Encompass ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner to ensure seamless operation.

3. **Quality Assurance:**
- Conduct thorough unit and integration testing, ensuring that software solutions are robust, reliable, and meet performance standards.
- Facilitate code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to improve code quality and team productivity.

4. **Documentation:**
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and system designs.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation for end-users as necessary.

5. **Mentorship:**
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
- Share knowledge and best practices related to Encompass development and emerging technologies.

6. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team to enhance our development practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and deployment.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of **5 years** hands-on experience in Encompass development or related technologies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs; experience with Encompass SDK is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of mortgage origination processes and relevant regulatory standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
