Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases and test suites.
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
  • Execute automated regression testing and analyze test results.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects.
  • Maintain reusable and scalable automation components.
  • Work closely with developers, functional consultants, business analysts, and other QA team members.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, test execution, and defect-management activities.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines wherever applicable.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures and distinguish application defects from script/framework issues.
  • Provide testing status, risks, issues, and quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 10+ years of overall experience in QA/Software Testing.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Automation Testing experience.
  • Strong understanding of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining automation test scripts/frameworks.
  • Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
  • Experience working with test/defect management tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to work from office in Bangalore or Chennai.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Leapwork automation testing.
  • Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications.
  • Experience with other automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
